Hello Tony

I just leased a new ford ranger approx a week ago, I put a down payment on $4,000. and with the first payment and all the rest of it I put down a total of $5,400. I'm not satisfied with the truck and I have been told that there is a law that allows people 30 days to return a new vehicle from the date of purchase.

Is this true and do I get my deposit back? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Troy,

I don't know of any such law. Once you sign the lease contract and take delivery of the vehicle you are obligated to make all the payments on time each month.
