My name is Tamara and I bought, or I thought I bought a 2003 Ford F-150 Oct. 23, 2005.

As it turned out they couldn't finance me but they didn't inform me of this for 2 weeks! They called and I returned their call which was on the 26th, but they never said what it was about. I returned the call that day I left 2 messages for the Finance Manager to call me back. I called for the next 3 days with no return call.

Anyway, long story short they repossessed the truck. I thought I had purchased and in the mean time they never contacted the other finance company where my trade-in was financed.

They had my trade-in until I called my other finance company and asked them if they had received a check for the pay-off. They had not!

So now my old finance company has repossessed that car and the new truck has been taken away from me. There is a lot more to this saga but this is kind of the long and short of it.

Oh, and now my original finance place wants over $1,000.00 in towing charges and repossession fees.

Hi Tamara,

What a mess! This dealership should be ashamed of themselves.

Tamara, this sounds like a job for a lawyer. You may also want to contact your state's Attorney General's office and file a complaint against this dealer as well.

I'm assuming that had you not traded your old car in that you would have continued making payments on it.

You need to seek legal advice from an attorney . . . and FAST!
