This is an excellent tip for anyone who is considering buying or selling a car to or from someone outside of the country.

Hello Tony
I was reading your articles, very useful information. I noticed one about the foreign car scam. This happened to me once. What you can do is if you can access the headers of your e-mail, you can see fields such as "x-origin" and there will be IP addresses.
Google "whois" and look up each IP address in the header. If any of them are not correct, it's a GIANT RED FLAG. The user in question said he was in London but when I looked up the IP, it said it came from AFRICANS.NET.
No one sending e-mail from London should have their e-mail originating in Africa. As soon as I saw this I stopped communicating with him after sending him some choice words I won't repeat.
The process of tracing e-mails may be confusing for someone not good with computers, but with thousands on the line, it is worthwhile.

Hi Greg,
That's a great tip Greg. I'll be sure to publish it so my website visitors can take advantage of it.
Thanks for taking the time to pass that along.
All my very best...
